I didn't know doing a blog was gonna be so much work

When I started this I didn't have so much going on so it was easier to write.

Cosmo and Mimi 003 My mom took me over to another friends house and I met another bigger dog named Cosmo there.  Mom's friend took lots of pictures (of course) and I'll put some in my slideshow.

Mom said he's not feeling well but he sure acted well that day!

I had a great time but I forgot I was inside and had an accident on the rug.  The friend was very nice about it but Mom was kinda mad at me.  What's a puppy to do?

turkey-trot-2008 Then, there was this strange day that happened.  My brother came home in the middle of the night from wherever he goes.

Then we got up very early and picked up Nana and all of us went to this place where there were more people and dogs than I had ever seen in my whole life.

My brother took off for somewhere and Nana and Mom and I walked around for a long time.  We got to see some of the other dogs and met lots of people.

Then we saw Daddy and my brother again and we walked to the blue box and rode home.  My brother said he was running like he and I do sometimes.  I would have liked to run, too, instead of walking but I have to treat Mom nice sometimes.

Then, everyone took a nap except maybe Nana who went to her place for awhile.

Then Mom got up and started cooking stuff.  Seemed like I could smell food forever and it was great.  She didn't give me any, though.

Then Nana came back and some man I didn't know.  He was interesting because he was dressed different from Daddy and my brother.  Mom said he was wearing a kilt.  I tried to look up it but couldn't see anything.

They all ate this stuff and I waited patiently in the kitchen.  Then I went out and helped them play cards.  This man won so I don't think they'll ask him to come back.

My brother stayed for a while and we got to run and play a lot.  He's great.  He even used that noisy thing to run on one day.  I don't know what it is but I looked at it and couldn't figure it out.  It moved under my feet!

He went back to wherever he sleeps but he said he'd be back soon and I'm looking forward to that.

We got Nana and we all went back to see Mom's friend and the other dog.  Mom's friend said that the next day would be Cosmo's last one.  I didn't know what that meant but all the people seemed very sad about that.  His Daddy came over too and we all had a good time but Cosmo seemed tired and just wanted to rest.  I tried to play a little but Mom said to not bother him.

Then one morning Mom and Daddy got up very early and went out.  It was dark out.  I waited and waited patiently and when Mom finally came back again it was dark again.  She was amazed that I'd been such a good girl.  After I ate some dinner, she went out again.  When she finally came home, she said Daddy would come home the next day and I was sad about that.  I was missing him.

It was good, though, because he did come home the next day and he's stayed home with me every day since.  Except this morning we drove Daddy somewhere and left him off there.  We'll go back and pick him up in about an hour.

I've talked to my dogmother a lot during this time, too.  We always talk and she sings to me and that makes the day more fun.

But now I'm tired from writing all this and I'm going to go sleep some before I have to go get Daddy.

Wow, I haven't written here for a long time

...and it's all my Mom's fault.  She never lets me type on this thing.  Every time I try, she tells me to get down.

Since I wrote last so much has happened I can't remember it all.  I know we were out for a walk one day and I saw a big red dog running up the street.  Mom said his name was Focks but I don't know how she knew that because we never saw him before.

Then one day he was out my back window just looking in!  Another time, we saw 2 of him which was strange to me but Mom said that they were both Focks so I guess she knows.

One time Daddy saw Focks outside again and he called somebody about that but they didn't do anything.  Is a dog bad just because he's red?

My school is finished now and I graduated.  I have a certificate to prove it, just like my brother's certificate from his school.  His is bigger, though.  I learned a lot but it was mostly fun, running around and playing with the others in my class.

I missed one class and I'm not sure why.  The day before I didn't get any breakfast and Mom took me to my doctor's office - the same place as my school.  I didn't get home until it was almost dark and they didn't let me have dinner, either.  I was getting hungry!  the next day, I had to stay home from class but then I could go again.  My Mom says I can't have puppies now but I couldn't before so I'm not sure what the big deal is.

IMG00033 My brother came home one time and it was great!  We ran around the block a lot and he was nice to me.

Here he is, playing with me on the floor.

He had to go back to wherever he lives but mom said he'd be here again is a little while.

It was sure fun having him here!

IMG00032 I talk to my dogmother a lot on that box thing.  Mom makes it so I can hear better and I lick the box so my dogmother can know that I love her.  She sings a song to me called Mimi.

My Mom had trouble taking this and holding the box that I was licking at the same time but this is me and my dogmother.

I wonder how she fits in that box?

IMG00036 I would be still asleep and not writing this if mom hadn't taken this picture.  I was sound asleep and then there was a bright light that woke me up.  So I decided to catch up on everything here.

Mom got me this pillow for the big blue box we ride around in but I thought I'd like to keep it here by where I write this blog.

What does blog mean, anyway?  Sounds like another name for dog.

I'll try to write soon again, sooner than this time.  I'm very busy, though.

What a great day!

My dogmother called and sang to me again...while I was resting with Mom on the sofa.

mimi My mom took this picture of me watching TV.  It's not a very good picture but it was a great pose.

I was lying on the sofa for the first time

I hope to have more days like this!

I started my school

Finally, Mom got me to school this week.  Remember last week just she went and that didn't seem right.

So we went in that blue box again and I wasn't sure where we were going at first because we go so many places in that.  But it was a short trip and it looked like we were going to my doctors.

We got there and the other puppies and humans were there already.  We all got to play together and that was so fun.  I'm taller than the other puppies so I was better at playing with them and I won everything.

My doctor's puppy is tiny and I was able to stand over her!  There's a boy dog in class but he's not as big as my puppy brother is, either.

So while we were playing and running around, Daddy came in so I stopped and went to him a little then back to playing.  That was more fun.

After a while the human in charge said we had to practice sitting.  I'm very good at that so I sat.  The other puppies needed to work on that so I watched.

Then we had to learn something new called focus.  I did that with my mom and she gave me a treat.  I guess we're supposed to work on that every day so I'll do it when she says the word but I won't do it unless she gives me a treat.  Don't tell her, OK?

Then we played some more, then we went out to practice walking on a leash.  They used me as the example and I can't imagine why.  The HIC walked me first to show that I could walk where she wanted and not where I wanted.

Then the other puppies tried it and Daddy walked me, then Mom.  When I got home, I went back to walking where I wanted.  That's so much more fun, then I can see stuff.

I heard them talking about stuff like drop it, leave it and stuff like that and I definitely don't want to know about that.  I like playing with stuff I find around the house.

We played some more and that's the best part.

We have stuff to do here before class like practicing the focus thing and the walking thing and the leaving it.  I don't think I need practice though so maybe I won't.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today my Mom was talking to my dogmother (again!  sheesh, they talk all the time!).  My Mom put the white box up to my ear and I could hear my dogmother singing to me through that box and I don't know how that could work but it did.  She sings so pretty.  I kissed the white box and I hope she got that back.  I don't know how to sing yet.  I don't know how to use the white box, either, but maybe I'll learn later in school.
Stuff
My dogmother called today to give me a big hug and I thought that was so special.  I kissed her over the thing Mom talks into.  I don't know if my dogmother got the kiss or not because she's far away, too far for me to run to, even further than that farm place.
Mom keeps singing this song to me called Mimi Mia.  She says it's from some kind of show but I don't think so.
One of her pee-an-oh student's Daddy says that there's an opera with a singer named Mimi so I guess I have a name that people like to sing about.
It was a nice day.  I always like hearing from my dogmother and having Mom sing to me.  And having my brother come to see me.
It is all about MeMe!
Friday
It's harder keeping up with this than I thought!
That last post of mine I forgot to say that the farm people left us a box of stuff, some the same as we worked so hard to get on Saturday.  Why did we do all that work if they were going to bring it anyway?
My Mom went to the Puppy School on Wednesday and I wasn't invited.  What good is it going to my school if I'm not there?  She said I'll go this next week and that my doctor is taking the class, too.  You'd think my doctor would know everything that there is to know so I'm thinking maybe I need a new doctor.  I'm looking forward to meeting the other puppies, though.  I know I'll be the cutest.
Speaking of doctors, my brother is coming here tonight.  He's the one that did my logo.  I wonder if he'll remember me.  I've grown a bit bigger and lost some of my teeth.
I hope he does.
Depending on that wet stuff falling from the sky we may go to the farm again tomorrow but I don't know how we'll all fit in that blue box.
I like the wet stuff but the people don't seem to, too much.
I'm helping Mom clean out a cold box today.  She's throwing away stuff she thinks is too old but it smells fine to me.  I hope she doesn't throw me away when I get to be too old!
Mom told me I should write something
I've been too busy to write and when I'm in the mood, SHE'S using the computer.  I think if she wants me to keep doing this, she should get me my own computer.  My paws are getting bigger and it's getting hard to type the right letters sometimes.
We've been doing that block thing almost every night except one time we went the other way, doing non-left turns at every corner instead of left turns.  Mom said that's still a block but it doesn't make sense to me that it could be so different with the same name.
Every time I go out, I meet mew people and they all say I'm pretty.
 Electric_Blue
Saturday we went in the big blue box again and went to the farm.  I met lots of nice people who wanted to pet me.
blogger 9-13-2008 2-27-02 PM I was interested that all of the puppy-humans asked if it was ok if they petted me instead of just coming over to me.  I liked that they asked and I said yes to all, of course.
We went out in the fields and I helped Mom and Nana pick tomatoes and peppers.  I stood guard while Nana got some skwash that wasn't supposed to be picked yet.
blogger 9-20-2008 4-35-59 PM
I couldn't find anything to pick in this field so I just ran around and looked at the butterflies and stuff.
Then we came home again and I slept a lot.
Sunday I helped my Daddy do some outside work and we met some new neighborhood dogs and people.  While we were out talking to people my Mom saw a humming bird.  She said she'd never seen one here before.  I was confused by that because I didn't hear anyone humming.
That was a fun day.
Monday was my Mom's birfday and she's really old now.  That friend came over to pet me some and then she said happy birfday to Mom.
Daddy was working outside so I helped him with painting and we're going to set up a new fence so I can play outside.  I'm going to remember where the places are I can get out in case I want to go visit any of my new friends.
Then Mom had some of those pee-an-oh students and they all petted me and so did their Moms and Daddys.  Then I finally got a nap in before Daddy came home with gifts for Mommy's birfday.
He took pictures of me while she opened them but I don't have those yet.  I don't know how they expect to write a quality blog without the proper tools but I'm trying.
I think I'm going to rest today before the block thing happens again.
Blocks?
I've been out every night this week walking to the left when I get to a street.  My Mom says that's called "walking around the block".  That sounds like a silly name to me but so does a lot of stuff.  Isn't a block a toy?
The other night I did this whole block in 14 minutes.  I don't know how long that is but I know I went as fast as my little legs could take me.
That friend of Mom's came over to see me again and then she didn't want to walk home so we drove her in the blue box.  I don't know if she lives on another block or what but Mom knew the way and she got us there and home ok.
Daddy was away for a while so it was just Mom and me  That was kind of nice but I want Daddy to get me those pictures from the farm so I can put those up.  It's almost time to go again!
I heard that my human brother is coming home sometime.  I wonder if he's losing his baby teeth too, like I am.  He's the one who is a doctor but not a vet like my doctor.
I hope to have those pictures soon.  I like looking at them!
Yesterday was busy.  I arranged my room and put all my toys in my crate so I could always have them nearby.  Good idea, huh?
Saw my vet again today
My Mom took me in that blue thing to see that doctor again.  I thought after I passed all my tests last time that was it.  I guess not.
Nana met me up on the black stuff outside my vet and we gave her something or other.  I met a nice lady who said I was pretty.
We went in and everyone was petting me and saying how pretty I was.  This time, I went on the big-dog scale instead of that cat scale.  I'm up to over 16 pounds now.
I had a different vet this time and she was nice.  Even her name was nice - Candy.  She didn't take my temperture and THAT was nice, too.
I know she snuck in some shots but she was kind about it and she said it would keep me from coughing and catching that parvo thing.  I can go on sidewalks now, anywhere I want!
She said my teeth are coming out and my big-girl teeth are coming in.  I wonder if I leave them for the dog fairy if she'll leave me some treats.
The vet said I might get to be about 60 pounds when I grow up and that my dad might be a border collie.  I don't know how she could know that if I don't know that and I don't think mom knows that but I let her think she knew what she was talking about.
She and Mom talked about doing something that would keep me from ever having puppies.  That didn't sound good to me.  I'm just a puppy myself.  How can I decide what I want to do later?
I got all kinds of good reports and when I left they gave me a new charm for my neck.
My Mom signed me up for some school thing.  I don't think they can teach me anything but maybe I'll go anyway.
When I was leaving they gave me some stuff and it said MimiO on it and Mom thought that was funny because some people call her MaryO.
She had people over again playing that pee-an-oh thing.  Maybe that's what I'll learn in school even though I've known about pee for a long time.
While she was doing that I put some towels in my room.  I thought they might come in handy later but Mom thought that I wouldn't need them and took them back out.
Well, I gotta go.  It's dinner time and I think it's gonna be lamb and rice...again.
We went to a farm
Sorry I haven't written much lately.  The people keep me busy and I can't get online much other than on my leash.  I guess that's sorta online.  I've been trying and trying to get rid of that thing but I just can't chew through it.  My people are talking about getting a chain link leash and that sounds awful so maybe I'll stop for awhile.
Yesterday morning I got up early.  I guess Daddy was making noise while he was sleeping so Mom got up to go use the computer - why can't I use it at that time?  I'd do more writing here if I could.  Anyway, as soon as I saw Mom I wanted her to take me outside - and she did.  Then Daddy heard the door open and so he got up and then he took me out so I went out a lot before breakfast.  Made me very hungry!
I think Mom fell asleep again and Daddy went somewhere so I just played for awhile.
Mom fixed me a big thing out of that cold box and one of the things fell on the floor and she let me play with it.  It was really cold and it turned into water when I pushed it around.  Then it was gone.
Then when Daddy came home we went in that big blue thing and picked up the woman who was here just before my human brother, the non-vet doctor, went away.  I think they called her Nana so I will too.
Anyway, we got her in the blue thing and drove for a long time.  It seemed like forever but eventually we got there.
When I got out of the blue thing at the farm it looked like the grass went on forever.  Wow!  I met so many people and kids and dogs.  Most all the people said I saw cute, pretty, beautiful, of course.
Mom went in a building where she got pieces of paper that my 3 people put on their arms but I didn't get one even though I tried to get theirs.  I guess she told some of the people in there about me because they came out to meet me.
Then after that we went for the longest walk all over.  I saw all kinds of things I've never seen before and some really big dogs.  There were kids playing some kind of game that I didn't understand where they moved things that were as big as they were but they were black and white color.
We walked and walked and sometime ran and Daddy took lots of pictures.  He hasn't given those to me yet so I'll have to add those later.  Mom had brought a big thing of water for me and I stopped several times to have a drink.  That was good.  It was hot and I got very thirsty.  The last time my feet were hot and tired from all the walking so I put them in the water, too.  That sure felt good.
At the end just before we came home we were talking to some people and I was walking a little when I stepped on something.  The lady said it might have been a b but that doesn't make sense.  Anyway, it feels better now.
I slept most of the way home then I went to sleep early last night.  What a day!
I'll put in pictures when Daddy gives them to me!
Vote for Me!Me! For President
Who knew I'd run?  I like to run and play, and fool around.  Just like the other presidents.
Busy Day!
I thought it would be easier here but it sure isn't.  I got up about 6:30 and went out with Daddy.  As usual, Mom got up late.  She seems to do that a lot.
While Daddy was standing in the box with the water coming on his head Mom took me out.  I didn't really need to go out again, I just wanted to play.  Then I decided to go by where the streets come together so I can see more dogs walking by.
I lay down in the grass and heard the strangest noise.  Id didn't sound like a dog or anything.
Then these 2 guys walked by.  They had sticks but not in their mouths.  They had one in each paw and when they walked it made that noise.  One of them petted me and said I was pretty so they were good guys.
We went in for a while and that friend of Mom's came over to say hi to me.  I heard she walked from wherever she was and we would have walked her partway back but I can't go on the sidewalks yet because I might catch that parvo thing.  I don't think I cold catch it though because i can't catch a ball very well, either.
We walked her outside though.  Mom is still hoping I'll pee outside.  But then some guy walked by and said he was doing something with gas.  I don't know what that was but he went across the street after that.  I guess he's not afraid of parvo.
Then my Mom went out for a little while and I got to stay by myself and nap for a while.  When she came home I helped her bring in some stuff that smelled pretty good but she put it in that cold box and said it was for later.
My Mom called my dogmother and put the phone by my ear so I could hear her but there was just a tape or something so I couldn't talk back.
Mom and I went out again - she never gives up!  This time that friend of Mom's who walked over walked over again with a man this time.  I played with them for a while and wrapped myself around his legs with that drat leash.  They didn't take it off, though, just unwound everything.
Then they were going to go and 2 women stopped to talk to me.  They used to be foster moms just like my foster mom and they have lots of puppies around.  They said I could come play sometime.
Daddy came home while I was out but then he went right back out again.  A woman came and talked to me and told me I was pretty.  She said she has 2 dogs that I can go play with, too.  I'm going to be busy!
She also said that she saw a fox coming out of my yard one time and I should be careful going out at night.  I always make my people go with me anyway so I'm not worried.
So I met a lot of people today.  More than I can count on my paws.  Of course, they all said I was pretty.  It's all about Me!Me!
About that lamb and rice - I'd rather have that stuff in the cold box that Mom brought home today.
I'm back in my new home!
My new people are back from wherever they were and they came for me today.
I spent the whole time they were gone playing with my sister, the other dog and that cat (blech!)  My mom and brother came to visit me,  too, so that was cool.  We all had a great time together and my brother taught us some new stuff.
When my new people got me they thought I had gotten bigger.  I could have been rude and told the woman that she had gotten bigger, too, but I didn't.
We all got home and I had to check out the yard again but it was pretty much the same as when I was here before.
IMG00023 Then it was naptime.  Do I look bigger to you?
After my nap Daddy came back from somewhere with lots of new food for me!  Looks like it's lamb and rice for dinner tonight.  Yum!
He got some food that he put in that big box that I can't get into.  When I stand by there it's cold but they won't let me look inside.
It's going to be dinnertime pretty soon so I'll let you know how this new stuff is.
After that Daddy, Mommy and I went out.  He had some long stick and was holding it up against the deck, then he went to a different place and did the same thing.  He said he'd going to put some thing there and I think he said it had something to do with me but I'm not sure yet.
IMG00024 Here I am playing with a new toy.  It makes some kind of squeaky noise.  Why do they think we like stuff that makes noise like this?  The thing I like best is a rope kind of thing with knots at the end.
Of course, shoes are good too.
Daddy went out again to get something to do with whatever he was was doing out back.  I guess I'll know more later.
It's good to be back - all kinds of stuff to look at and try to figure out.
Heading to my sisters tonight!
I know I'm going to Penny's tonight so I wanted to pack everything up early on.  This morning I had Daddy pack up my crate and put it in the car in case I decided to go early.
Then I found out that Penny's family was busy all day so I stayed home and helped Mom with the packing and laundry for their trip.  We got lots of stuff done.
Mom's friend from yesterday came by again and I had to let her pet me some and then we went out.  Then Mom called her friend (my dogmother) and talked to her some.  She said nice things about me.  She's a nice lady.
Then Daddy called to say he'd be home before I left so that's good.  I didn't know how I was going to get that crate set up by myself.  It looks hard to do so Daddy can do that for me while I catch up with everyone.
mimi-aug-22-08 Mom took a picture of me eating before we left.  I didn't want to go over there and take all their food.  But if there is any extra, I won't mind!
I heard that my mom and my brother Thunder will be dropping by sometime for a visit.  That will be so good to see them again.  I was thinking of getting family reunion bandanas.
I won't see my new family for 2 weeks.  That sounds like a long time.  Longer than I've lived here.  I hope they don't forget me!
Another new day and another person
I got up early again to meet the new day. I woke my dad up at 4:30am and we went out.  When we came back in, Daddy went back to sleep but I played for awhile.  Then he got up again and then Mom then the day finally got started.
I went out again and there was a big truck across the street that made beep beep sounds then went around my corner and beeped again.  I wonder what he wanted.
A friend of Mom's came over to meet me.  At first I didn't want to want to meet any more people but she seemed nice and I let her hold me and pet me.  People can be nice, too.
I tried to help Mom with the laundry since some of it was mine but she said she didn't need help so I played with some stuff.  I'm still working at getting this collar off, too.
I napped and played and went out to roll around in the grass until Daddy came home then we all went out - again.
Mom is always resting on the sofa so I thought I would, too, but she wasn't happy about that and made me get down.  That's just not fair if she can but I can't.
Tomorrow I get to see my sister again and I can't wait.  I miss her, the other dog and even that cat (blech).
New stuff
Daddy was going to that work thing early today so we woke up Mom so she could be with me.  She wasn't too happy.  I think she likes to sleep more than I do!
We went out after breakfast (more of the same stuff from dinner) and I guess those drumline people had practiced enough because they weren't there.  Good thing.  They are very distracting.
Mom went out for a little while and played with other dogs.  Yesterday and today she's playing with other dogs?  Harrumph.
When she got back we went out for a while and walked around.  A man brought a big box to the house but it wasn't for me.
Then she said we were going for a ride.  And we did.  We went a little ways and got out of the car and went in a new place.  Nice people!  They knew my name and called to me as my Mom was carrying me in the front door.  It's all about Me! Me!
Then we went in a room and I was on this high place.  Someone put me in this basket and said I weighed 12 pounds.  I'm gaining weight already!  Then I saw a picture of a cat (blech) on the basket and I didn't like that much!
Another person came in and looked in my ears and eyes and did stuff I'm glad my Mom didn't take pictures of.  She let me eat this stuff that she said tasted like banananas but I don't know what those are, either. Then she gave me lots of treats and gave my Mom a big puppy kit that had more dogfood and stuff in it.  She said I couldn't have it yet, maybe after I eat my other stuff.  Even my own shampoo!
Those people were so nice and they invited me back in a few weeks.  I hope they don't need to take my temperture again, though.
We were outside again later at night and I saw a big black and white cat.  I wanted to go over and meet it but mom said she thought it was a skunk and we should stay away.  Then Daddy came home and I told him about my day.
He opened the big box and it was full of books that my human brother wrote!  He wrote Mom, Daddy, and Nana's names in the front but not mine.  mom pointed out that he hadn't met me yet when he wrote that book but if he did know me my name would be there.  I'll never be able to read it anyway.  It's called Using Tree Automata to Investigate Intuitionistic Propositional Logic (Mom had to put that in for me.  He sure sounds smart!).
I'm tired.  I think I'll go out one more time then go to bed and think about those words.  I know what a tree is...
Tuesday, August 19, 2008
Another busy day
I thought I was coming here for some rest. Guess that's not going to happen!
The man (I think I'll call him Daddy) took me out in the morning. We watched some man cut down a tree with something loud. I wanted to go in so we did.
Then he was going to something called "work". I don't want to know what that it but it means you have to carry a heavy box with you. I tried to look in the box before but it just looked like papers. Maybe he chews on them when he gets to work. Maybe that is work. Am I working?
The woman (Mommy doesn't sound right to me) took me out and all of a sudden there was this loud sound. She said that it was the drumline for the school practicing for a game. I don't practice for my games so I'm not sure why they do. They had to practice a lot, though. Almost every time I went out today they were banging away on those things.
She said she was going out for a little while to see a friend and do that pee-an-oh thing again. I'm going to have to learn this, I think. I rested in my room. When she came home she smelled like she had been petting another dog!
We went out again, more of that noise, then went in. Hooray! It's hot out there.
She used that toy she puts by her face to talk into and she put it up to my ear. I could hear someone talking even though I couldn't see them. Very interesting. The person is my new dogmother and her name is Alcie. She sounded so nice. She's thinking about getting a puppy too and that will be nice because we can talk to each other over this same toy. My mom said something about a webcam but that sounded silly.
Then, finally, a nap. When I got up we went outside, same people making noise, then while we were out Daddy came home. That was exciting!
I helped him make the new fence for awhile but then I got bored so I went inside and watched from there.
We played for awhile, then ate, back outside - no sounds this time - then bed. Finally!
I heard something new is happening tomorrow but I'm not sure what that is.
Today was pretty good
These people are watching my every move to be sure I stay a "good girl".
This morning, the man and I went out for a nice walk outside on the grass - I can't go on sidewalks yet cause I'm too young.  I met another nice dog and we got to know each other a little.
The woman had some of those pee-an-oh students and they all thought I was cute - of course.
The man is fixing up the fence so I can go out back by myself soon.  I used to go out back with my siblings and the cat (blech!) but I could get out of the fence here too easily and they don't want that.
In the afternoon we went for a long walk in the park.  That was pretty fun.  It was silly though...the people drove me to the park so we could walk.  They're careful about those sidewalks!
IMG00020 When we got back I was tired and took a nap by the fireplace.  It always looks like there's another MiMi behind me!
After the nap, I helped the man and my human brother bring some wood around the side for the new fence.
Then my brother was leaving to go back wherever he lives so they left and the woman and I took a much deserved long nap before we went outside again.
Now I'm going to go play with a tape measure, I think.  Then, maybe a nap...
Well, I'm in my new home
And here's our Mom. I think I'm going to look like her!
I told the man I wasn't going to like the plastic crate they got so they got me a nice wire one just like I had at my foster home! Wow!
After the people signed some more papers they came to get me and I said good bye to my foster family but only until this weekend. These people are going away on something called vacashion so I'm going back to my sister's place.
I brought some old pictures with me, too, of my mom and family. When I get my slideshow working I'll probably add these, too.
My new brother, the one who put my picture in the header, is going to take me out to play so I gotta go.
It looks like I'm moving tomorrow
I haven't seen them but I heard that the people went out and got me a new crate and a denim beanbag to sleep on. How comfy is that? And I won't have to share with anyone. It's all for MeMe!
They also got some toys and snacks and that sounds great. Fun stuff all for ME to play with and eat and that sounds great. I won't have to fight anyone to get the good stuff.
They also got something called a collar and a leash and I'm not sure about those. Maybe I can hide those somewhere and be done with them.
Thanks to my human brother
I won't get to know him too well, at least for a while, because they said he's a doctor but I don't think he's a vet so he's not a real doctor.
Anyway, he's going to go to work in another place so he's moving, just like me.  I will meet him on Sunday and be able to thank him in person (?) for fixing my picture at the top of the page.
It was bothering me having a dog I didn't know on MY page (after it's all about ME! ME!) so he got my picture up there instead.
As I grow and get cuter and cuter, my new parents will take lots of pictures and I'll have a slideshow but for now, this one's it.
Thanks, bro!
I've been thinking
but not too much.  I've been busy playing.
I think these people will work out ok. The man isn't going to be there much during the day and the woman teaches pee-an-o.  I don't know anything about this but I know about peeing so I should be a big help to her.
I hear that most of the people she teaches are kids so that should be fun!  I love kids!
So, I think that there are 4 more big sleeps before I move to my new home!  I'm very excited.  I'm having these people sign some papers to be sure they take good care of me.  A puppy can never be too careful!  After they do that, I'll make my move.
Moving out?
I've been thinking about it and I think I might like to move in with those people. They seemed nice enough and not bothered by me and my sister playing around.
I sent someone over to their house to check on things, to see if there was a yard I could play in, if there was any good chewable furniture, stuff like that.
I also wanted to know about where I'd sleep. Sleeping is important to keep up my energy and growing up.
I think they did ok on my home inspection so I might move in with them this weekend. Seems like it will be fun but I'll miss my foster family (and even that cat - blech!)
Me! Me!
The guy in the header doesn't look quite like me but it will have to do for now until I can get my own picture up there.
Right now, I'm living with 2 of my sisters, a cat (blech) and an older dog at my foster mom's house. Since we're already 10 weeks old a couple of my siblings already moved to new homes and another sister is leaving soon.
Last night, a couple people came out to see me and I think I'm going to move in with them. They seemed ok. I tried to play with the woman a little by nipping at her fingers but she told me no and I stopped. We also tried untying the man's shoes and he didn't seem too upset so maybe they'll be an ok family.
I was tired at the end of their visit and really wanted to sleep so I let the woman hold me while I got some much needed rest.
We'll see. Maybe they'll work out fine.
