New stuff

Daddy was going to that work thing early today so we woke up Mom so she could be with me.  She wasn't too happy.  I think she likes to sleep more than I do!

We went out after breakfast (more of the same stuff from dinner) and I guess those drumline people had practiced enough because they weren't there.  Good thing.  They are very distracting.

Mom went out for a little while and played with other dogs.  Yesterday and today she's playing with other dogs?  Harrumph.

When she got back we went out for a while and walked around.  A man brought a big box to the house but it wasn't for me.

Then she said we were going for a ride.  And we did.  We went a little ways and got out of the car and went in a new place.  Nice people!  They knew my name and called to me as my Mom was carrying me in the front door.  It's all about Me! Me!

Then we went in a room and I was on this high place.  Someone put me in this basket and said I weighed 12 pounds.  I'm gaining weight already!  Then I saw a picture of a cat (blech) on the basket and I didn't like that much!

Another person came in and looked in my ears and eyes and did stuff I'm glad my Mom didn't take pictures of.  She let me eat this stuff that she said tasted like banananas but I don't know what those are, either. Then she gave me lots of treats and gave my Mom a big puppy kit that had more dogfood and stuff in it.  She said I couldn't have it yet, maybe after I eat my other stuff.  Even my own shampoo!

Those people were so nice and they invited me back in a few weeks.  I hope they don't need to take my temperture again, though.

We were outside again later at night and I saw a big black and white cat.  I wanted to go over and meet it but mom said she thought it was a skunk and we should stay away.  Then Daddy came home and I told him about my day.

He opened the big box and it was full of books that my human brother wrote!  He wrote Mom, Daddy, and Nana's names in the front but not mine.  mom pointed out that he hadn't met me yet when he wrote that book but if he did know me my name would be there.  I'll never be able to read it anyway.  It's called Using Tree Automata to Investigate Intuitionistic Propositional Logic (Mom had to put that in for me.  He sure sounds smart!).

I'm tired.  I think I'll go out one more time then go to bed and think about those words.  I know what a tree is...
